Fuel Pump Failure
Anyone had a fuel pump fail on them yet? I've got a MY14 GTI, 24000km on the clock and the fuel pump died last week. Drove it in the morning fine, then went to drive it again and was running a little rough, then when I took off down the road it died.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known issue
Luckily my car still has 1 year warranty remaining. Given my car's had 3 water pumps and now a fuel pump replaced under warranty, I'm thinking of flogging it before the warranty runs out and starts costing me a fortune to fix.
