Rear bumper insert - high gloss black D.I.Y

I wasn't really a big fan of the plastic black insert in the rear bumper of my mk6. I always appreciated the high gloss black insert of the R so i decided to improvise. If anyone needs any help with attempting this then let me know.

All you need is:

1 high gloss black vinyl wrap
razor blade (disposable)
soapy water
credit card (to smoothen out the air bubbles)
screw driver
