mk5 R32 haldex controller to mk6 Golf R… is it possible?

a friend of mine is looking at selling his mk5 R32. one of the mods ive been eyeing off is his haldex controller. question is will it work on my 2011 golf R?

You can confirm with Haldex or a Haldex dealer (such as Harding Performance), but I believe that the MKV R32 uses a generation 2 Haldex controller but the MK6 Golf R uses a generation 4 controller. So I don't believe it would work.

Just spoke to HPA in Canada and it confirmed what I already thought. As Corey mentioned the R is a gen 4 haldex unit not the 2 so it looks like no cheap 2nd hand haldex controller for me.

Next question...aside from Harding Performance, anyone know any good places go get haldex controllers?
