Hello everyone,
So a good friend of mine has a rather worked and beefy golf, it's only the 1.4litre but it's no longer anything resembling stock
He has gone through a few front bumpers (aftermarket ones ofcourse) originally had the R bumper, and now has the GTI one. Although the fitment is horrible. Yes it matches the guards and body lines. But the plastic vents down at the fog lights are just not pretty at all when you get up close.
We could try and 'make them work' however he really wants an OEM GTI front bumper and grille (as seen in the below photo)
Trying to avoid VW extortionists prices (not that we have called yet but we are trying to avoid that) next is finding a wreckers with an undamaged one if possible, however I thought I would make a post on here and try to help keep some funds in the great VW community
I did a bit of a search but quickly started getting to some very old posts. So if anyone has a GTI bumper and grill, or knows of a very good place to try please let me know
We are located on the sunshine coast in QLD, but obviously postage is an option.
