Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    MKV Golf GTI 5dr Team Heko Weather Shields Fitment

    Hi all, got my hands on a set of team Heko weather shields for a 5 door mkv Golf GTI. Got the fronts in super easy, but having some difficulty fitting the clips on the rear.

    Have done some reading online with people saying they don't run with the clips and its fine. That is all well and good, although, the clips are what push the weather shields out to provide clearance for your window to go back up. Have tried without clips and my window will not clear the shield so I have to run with the clips.

    Anyone had any experience with this?
