"Ill give you a very quick run-down of our cars. I have a Black Manual 05 GTI, and my girlfriend has an 05 Trendline, also in black.
We live in Toowoomba which is about 100km west of Brisbane, Qld.
We purchased both of the cars from the VW dealership on the Gold Coast, as we were not happy with the service from the local dealership here in town.
My car has done 4900km, and I purchased it in August as the demo vehicle from the yard with 700km on the clock. My girlfriends was purchased new back at the end of June.
We are both really happy with our purchases and are recommending them to everyone up here... hehe
I have had one warranty claim, which was the engine management light warning that I got while driving it to the dealership for the first service. Everything was sorted out in an hour with the ECU being flashed with the latest software.

Reason I posted this is that we get lots of visitors who do internet searches for "Golf 5" and my guess is that they're looking for first hand experiences rather than sales talk.
