My everloving partner just acquired a small dog trailer for the purpose of carting her chooks all over the country to shows.
Wanting to keep the Jetta as Volkswagen original as I can I called my nearest VW Service place and was quoted just short of $1500 (tow bar, wire loom and fitting) and that they needed the car for 2 days and can't do till mid June (4 weeks)
Thinking maybe someone else like Hayman Reese might be able to do something sooner.
Would fitting a non genuine VW one affect my warranty?
Is the VW one actually a VW one or a local one that they approve?
or one fitted by a VW approved fitter?
Anyone with helpful advice or tips?
(Its only a small trailer for my baby 77 TDI Jetta.)
