I posted this in the MK4 section but thought it would also be of interest to MK5 owners as the process is the same.
Because my MK5 GTI was sold recently, I wanted to get some more power from my MK4 GTI. So got a REVO reflash and filmed the whole process so others can see behind the scenes what is involved.
Obviously a MK5 gets more power and apparently is also much more customisable, but this video will give you the run down of how the flash is done.
After the flash (taking the car to around 150kw ATFW) it feels very similar to a my stock MK5 GTI in terms of acceleration and 'push in the seat factor', though we will have to find out for sure next meet up, on someone's really, really long driveway.
Any questions feel free to shoot them over. Enjoy!!
