Is there a good website for the specs of these cars ? The specs provided by VW are pretty vague at best. Looking for info on gear ratios final drive ratio etc. I was told that the 1.9 and 2.0 comfortline are identical apart from engine but after owning the 2.0 and driving a 1.9 for a day I noticed the gearing is obviously different - about 200 rpm in 6th at 100klm/h. Interested in the difference between the 2 engines - is it essentially just the twin cam head ?
