Hi all,
have not been on this site for some time,
but here's a return.
Last week driving my beautiful MK5 2008 VW Golf GT Diesel, with DSG. Enjoying a lovely drive home after dropping off Wife to work. A moron cut me off, Mid-roundabout, casing a collision. He was in Left lane, which is a Left turn only. I was in Right lane, which goes Straight, Right or Left. As I was also turning Left, the idiot to my left decided he wanted to turn Right. You guessed it, A conclusion to an otherwise perfect day.
Today I got word from the Panel-shop and Insurer, what I expected. Write-off. Repairable but I had the choice, So I chose to write off. Ending my relationship with an otherwise wonderful car. This is a 2.0L DSG Diesel, with a Custom Code tune and performance exhaust.

I am now wrecking it. I yet have to pick up car and take home.
At his stage I am inviting offers of interest. To either Break for parts of Buy out-rite.
I will post some photo's latter.
All damage is essentially Bolt on. Front Panel damage, bonnet, Bumper, Grill, Left Guard,
inner Plastics to guard, left Headlight, Radiator-support, etc.
