Centre covers for running standard steels

All, I'm wanting to run the standard steel wheels without covers, but I'm having trouble finding VW badges that will cover the hubs. Has anyone done this before? It's a standard 1.6 with 14s. I've looked on line, but the centre badges I've found don't fit. For the rear, I could just glue/stick a badge on, but on the front, the end of the axle stubs sits out farther than the lip on the hub. Any help appreciated.
