indicator help needed please!!

Hey guys,

Okay so I hooked up my mk4 look headlights and I am running indicators in them now, maybe put simply, when disconnecting the indicators in the front bar, it was as if there was a broken globe in the connection and the new indicators in the lights sped up. how do I disconnect these properly??
