    not too bad at the moment, will definately need a paint then polish up, but no dints or gutter rash. got them at a good price. want them to look like this

    bought my wheels, got the 13" phone dials off inensem, check them out



    decided car is going full retro!!! awesome. cant wait to get these puppies and clean em' up, buy the whitewalls and lower the crap out of the old girl.

    Still haven't bloody got it... RWC is taking a little longer than expected. Owner has promised me tomorrow. Heres Hoping!!!!

    Still cant find the right rims for it, found some i liked but they need polishing and to be honest this sounds like a lot of hard work, not sure if i am up to the challenge.

    Parts i am looking for if anyone has them:

    yeah diesel engine will stay for now, a little gutless though. just want new set of rims, lower it a little, body is excellent and will come up a treat with a cut and polish. hopefully i can make the bumpers look a little better cos the paint is coming off. theres a tiny tear in the lining of the roof but thats all that is wrong inside.... LOVE IT....first VW and what a find.

    any ideas for rims??

    any ideas what else makes them look even better than they do??

    wow - thats like my old mk1! i had a gld that was that colour, but in terrible condition (the paint) so it got resprayed.

    welcome to another dieseler! keep it diesel, keep it cool
