The 188,000 km 2.0L TDI DSG has been great from new.
Recently did a 2,000km round trip then put it in for service at local VW dealer.
Came back with parking lights on as daytime running lights and a mid-range flatspot around 50-60 kph. Used to just accelerate in the same gear when called on around those speeds. Now it hesitates, kicks down and then accelerates, but at much higher RPM and lower fuel efficiency.
Is it possible it could have been treated as a Mk VI and re-mapped? I am going to ask the shop when I get a chance.
