Front lower control arm bushes replacement - Mk5

Hello.
I need to replace my front lower control arm bushes as the OEM ones are starting to split ... but can't seem to find a DIY anywhere.

Also I'm looking to replace them with these: http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-...ings/ES514164/

Thoughts?

Also do the springs need to be removed to remove the control arms?
