2012 Tiguan 132TSI - DRL LEDs Wiring

Hi, I have been given a pair of DRL LEDs and was wondering if I wire them so that they operate with the std daytime running lights, will that upset the MDF/computer management?? Hooking them up is easy enough and they only draw 6w watts each.

Would really appreciate any advice on this.
