  • No CDC error.

    Hi everyone.

I recently bought an iPhone and as a result my factory installed iPod adapter no longer works. I removed the iPod cdc connector from the back of the head unit and plugged in the OEM aux-in line. I also removed the iPod adapter's ground wire and replaced it with the aux-in ground.

Here is the weird part. When I try to use the aux in, it keeps displaying the "NO CDC" error message on the head unit.

I have an MY08 golf mkV gti with RCD500. Did anyone run into the same problem in the past? Do I have to run through the system with VAGCOM and activate the AUX-in?

    Thank you very much.
