hey guys and girls,
i'm looking into kitting my gti with a votex front lip, r32 side skirts.
after getting a couple quotes ranging around the $1000+ mark for a panel finish (texture removal) for my entire stock kit, i've decided to look into putting a kit together to acheive the same look at a cheaper price?
its funny, when you go into a vw dealership and ask for a particular part such a votex, they look at you like you've been smoking crack and you try explain but end up leaving looking like an idiot. to even check a price, the guy a camberwell vw told me he requires a vin number and their system doesn't search by car make.
so, to make things easier, i require some particular part numbers to take to vw, so does anyone know of the part number for mkv r32 3door side skirts? these are different from the standard gti skirts as these have a smooth panel finish and delete the verticle line near the rear wheel.
also, on a side note, after a bit of searching and many thanks to google chrome for translating, i've found the aftermarket parts shop within vw international!
