seems it's time for a proper build thread detailing everything done to my vRS so far, so here goes.

This was my brand new MY12 black DSG Skoda Octavia vRS wagon just off the boat in November 2011. With 2.0 TSI K03 specs, and most of the interior, exactly as per a mk6 Golf GTI .. but unlike the GTI it included a 30GB HDD, satnav, partial leather seats, and loads more boot space. It was also ~$5k less than a GTI

The first thing I wanted to do, apart from install the SB throttle controller, was hide the very noticeable chrome grill and get a front splitter installed .. so after a quick trip to the panel beater and a day spent at Grafico to vinyl wrap the grill, roof rails and door handles this was how she scrubbed up.

Next came a set of KW V3 coilovers and some Rays VR G2 18x8 matt black wheels ... and an ecu remap of course.

in Feb 2012 it was time for a new cat-back exhaust (Milltek non-resonated) .. the car went from barely audible to very audible.

A month later it was time for another treatment at the Grafico car day spa. I had the headlights done with a carbon & smoke vinyl combo, and the some matt black vinyl was applied to the mirror covers.

Around the same time, I decided that I needed to get a dyno baseline. It was a baseline I could certainly live with.

then my ITG Maxogen intake arrived

this was what it replaced:
