Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Another warning light question

    Replying to K1W1's post reminded me of a glitch in my Scout on Sunday morning. I'd just back down our steep driveway and onto the road when the TCS light came on as well as another light which, as I discovered when I tried to turn the wheel, was the power steering failure light. Turning the car on and off resolved the issue, and it hasn't recurred. A couple of months ago there were two or three mornings where the car didn't trun over immediately and the TCS light came on when it did finally start, but was extinguished by holding down the button.

    Anyone had anything similar to this?
