I've been around VW most of my life, either as an owner or mechanic here and overseas. My experience relates more to earlier air cooled versions. Our 2016 Tiguan is the first modern VW for us although it will soon be joined by Trakkadu campervan. For those not familiar with the Trakka, its built on a LWB VW Transporter. Regards Peter
