Forum only readable to users

The server is being hammered again by crawlers, we are seeing tens of thousands of "users" online. Rather than give up and take the whole thing offline, I've switched it over so users must be logged in to even read the forum. I've also removed the ads completely once you're logged in since they are now basically worthless and annoying.

It's not ideal, but it keeps things online for now until I work out a better approach.

    Newbie James - Just bought a 2009 Mk5 GTi.

    Hey guys,

    I am the new owner of a Mk5 GTi. Its the first Golf i have ever owned and am loving it so far.
    I am looking for advice on a cost effective tune and an exhaust set up that will toughen it up with out breaking the bank.
    I live in Brisbane and have been searching for a facebook group to join also for advice.
