I'm 22 and bought my first car (2006 Polo 9N3 GTI) back in late November last year. I definitely prefer a bit of power so it's a nice change from the other cars I had driven. The previous owner had modified the exhaust, installed AP coilovers (lowered 35mm) and also a stage 1 tune, still being a student I haven't been able to modify it any further unfortunately.
Signed up back in December but didn't end up making an intro post. I've learnt a fair amount reading the forums, still not very mechanically knowledgable so the information posted here has helped greatly.
