VIC a complete newie who wants to purchase a Passat or Tiguan in the very near future

hi gals and lads

as the title, we are looking for a VW for a secondary car for the growing family

just wanting to know more about the VW, as i heard many rumors about the gearbox, burning engine oil etc.

hope the current the owners could provide more feedback regarding your VWs, especially Passat & Tiguan.

i know Passat will have a new generation to be released in Nov 2015 in Aus; and new Tiguan next year.
looking forward to see both soon.
