So bought my MKIV GTI about 2 months ago, but been on work lately and only had the chance to play with her now.
I'm a Aircraft Mechanic so I might have some insight into some troubleshooting, or new ideas.
I Have had a few turbo hatches in the past and played with a lot of things turbo and 4x4, so I'll help out where I can.
Anyway my GTI is the first german turbo I've owned,
From what I can see...
K&N pod filter,
Stainless CAI from bottom left airwell. Not a fan as I think it's too close to water especially where I love.
Turbosmart Kompact dual Port Recirc BOV which will be for sale if anyone wants it, as I've just bought the TT DV instead.
I see coilovers, and that's about it.
Plans are
-a GiAC tune.
-the exhaust
-a better flowing air intake setup
-wheels looking for either BBS LM's, Aristos, bora sports, or denvers
-will need to swap out headlights hopefully r32 projectors because I can't stand angel eyes.
