Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Just purchased! Love it! 2005 Golf TDI

    Just purchased a 2005 VW Golf Comfortline 2.0TDI. Very happy thus far! I had a 1.6ltr 99 Golf a few few years back, it was very basic and plagued with problems so I was definitely a bit nervous about coming back to VW, but after a week of driving one again, I'm 100% hooked. I remember reading a bit on this forum, researching all the problems I had with the 99 Golf, so I thought I would join this time, hopefully not to research that many problems this time.

    I have a question about the Ipod adapter thing in the glove box that comes standard. I bought an iphone 5 adapter for it from Jaycar, but my phone says that the cable is not supported, has anyone else had any problems like this?

    Also, the car came with a set of unwanted whisbar roof racks.... If anyone is interested, feel free to PM me...
