Just by way of introduction:
My name is Rab and I live in Bluff, on the southern coast of New Zealand. I have a 98 VW Polo (1.6 litre AEE, manual trans DKE) that I'm trying to fix and it looks like there are more of them in Australia than in NZ. Look forward to seeing if I can make some sense of what my options are.
