Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hi all,
My name's Dan Ive been traditionally a BMW man but whilst looking for a new car now I was looking for a 335 but have stumbled across the passat CC 3.6L. (2009) - I had no idea they existed and have amazing bang for your buck plus easy on the eye. Ive taken one for an initial test drive and was happy (although it was mostly in traffic).

Ive joined the forum to ask a couple pre-purchase questions - what should I look out for in a second hand 2009 CC, and see what kind of tasteful mods people have done to their CC's, maybe chip, rims & exhaust? And if anyone has had good experiences doing these mods can maybe point me in the right direction of some good service.

    Cheers,
    Dan
