Hello there,
I've used this site for info for a while now so thought I'd better join up and contribute.
I come from a VW family that has and does own Beetles, a Combi and a Scirocco. So when it came for me to buy a family car, I decided on a used 2006 Passat Wagon Tdi (B6). Our car has had the DSG replaced under warranty by the previous owners, then we fell victim to the faulty diesel injectors, got those replaced by VW thankfully, but then had to pay for the in-tank fuel pump to be replaced... apparently not related to the injector problem although it happened at the same time. I copped that since it was a used car.
Apart from that, we love our car Fritz! Of course the wife drives it mostly, but I still enjoy cruising around in luxury every now and again.
