Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    I have a 2011 Polo 6R 1.2tsi DSG. I've been very happy with the car in spite of the recalls and now being out of warranty keep everything crossed it will be OK. The car was serviced by North Shore VW at Artarmon and I was pretty happy with their responsiveness to all the issues - rattles, DSG, timing chain and oil leaks. One thing I found during the issues was to keep the emails up to VW Support/Customer Services as well as the dealer, documenting everything and confirming agreed actions.

    I now have the car serviced by a specialist VW Repairer who looked after my previous Polos.
