Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    ACT First poster thoughts....

    Guys, i'm a relative VW newbie thinking of getting into a MK7 R after the wife picked up a MK7 103TSI just before Xmas.

    Test drove a GTI PP earlier today and thought it was nice.

    Previous ride a big HP G6E Turbo, current rides being an F10 M5 and restored W123 230CE Coupe.

    Thinking of an R with some decent wheels (Rays G25 or VMR 709 or OZ Racing or similar) , a Milltek exhaust and some lowered suspension. Then a tune, intercooler and associated supporting gear 12 months or so down the track....
