Hey guys,
I picked up an optioned up 05 golf tdi the other day. Im pretty noob with cars in general but keen to learn as much as possible though the forums.
The first question is about the head-unit. It came with the stock navigation system which was an optional extra in 2005 (mfd2), the previous owner installed an aux cord which is awesome but i also want integrated handsfree. It has a "tele" button on the unit but reading through the manual it only works with sone old school looking dock.
That is, i want to be able to use the controls on the steering wheel to make calls etc. and for the call to come through the speakers. What are my options?
Ps. Ive been trawling the net for most of the day but i can only find info on the newer headunits
