Hi All,
My Dealer called me today (car dealer!) to confirm I will be picking up my new Roomster on Monday!
This is replacing my 13 year old Passat 1.8T Variant 5sp Tiptronic that has served me extremely well for the past 250,000k's.
I was quite surprised at what a great drive the Roomster was. The 1.2T was not as gutless as I had expected and the 7 sp DSG was very smooth. I won't be carrying any heavy loads so I am comfortable with the 77Kw on offer. It was very tactile to drive and had a great feel on the road. I was really quite amazed at what a great little power-train it was! The versatility of the seating configs and the economy were the two biggest sell points for me. Luckily my wife drives a Toyota Rukus so the Roomster will be the most handsome car in the driveway believe it or not!!
