G'day all, after visiting the Williamstown swap meet 2 weekends ago, I have decided I would like to purchase a T3! On getting home form the swap meet I started looking on the net for resources and in the last few days came across this site - so that is what brings me here.
I first fell in love with Kombis when my Dad bought on in the mid 70's, he previously also had 2 Beetles earlier in life. Dad had a 1970 low light, 8 seater, white with red seats and black interior. My brother and I would like to find out what happened to this car after dad sold it in 1982 (he purchased an XE Falcon).
About me? I live in Latrobe Valley, father of an 8 month old, husband to one wife, have 1 chocolate Labrador, ride a 2009 Triumph Tiger 1050... And am currently between jobs - having left my previous job due to being less than satisfied with management and their tactics.
After seeing the 'busnbug trimming' T3 at Williamstown I was sold on that model.
Reason for registering is to research and learn more about the T3, and hopefully in the next few months I will make a purchase!
