Hi peoples
I'm new to all this VW talk and so far I'm really enjoying it.
I've been a dedicated Japanese car fan for my 19 or so years of driving, but have always admired the euro "attention to detail" and refinement. My nonno was an avid BMW man with numerous 5 and 7 series and my uncle raced a 635csi but for some reason I went for the Japanese bang for your buck (well, in the later years anyway)
These are my cars, not including work utes;
1 - Toyota corolla 68 ke10
2 - Nissan pulsar 89 n13 - worked motor and suspension
3 - Nissan silvia 89 s13 k's - worked everything - really quick
4 - Subaru WRX my01 wagon - stock
Current - Subaru forester XT my07 - stock
I've just come in the market and I just can't go past the golf mk7. Nothing else ticks the boxes like the golf does.
After test driving the tdi last weekend I'm convinced that it is the car for me and will order within the next few weeks providing I am happy with the deal I get.
Hence the title of my post. Im thinking that much like my Nonno, once I get a feel for the Euro, I'll be hooked.
Cheers, look forward to chatting with you all soon.
Dave
