Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW first post - i luv my tdi my first vw experience

Just introducing myself. Overall, new to the forum however remember someone telling me how gr8 kt is.
I have had owned my mark 6 tdi comforline sport for almost 3 yrs. I have never owned a vw before let alone a diesel, it's such a cool car comfy with lotsa grunt enough for me as I was so close to buying a Gti though thought too much power to get me in trouble. Had very few issues mechanically except for faulty throttle sensor and leak between gearbox and engine. I'm thinking that the sticky throttle sensor is back and of to Barlo world soon to check it all out. :
