Hi all. Have recently bought an 09 Tig diesel with comfort pack. My first VW - though I have a friend who has been driving Golfs since the 80's. Added a VW tow bar (after reading a bit about them on this forum) and some Thule Aerobars. (I shopped around for that - the price difference between the two local dealers was $500! I like it to drive - one reason for choosing a VW over other SUV types. And it doesn't have any significant turbo lag. It does sometimes run a lot louder in the engine than I like - very odd, as it is not consistent. Anyway, looking forward to getting some useful stuff out of the oldtimers here.
