Hey dudes,
New member here, after a 10 year love/hate affair driving italian stallions (read: unreliable donkeys)
I've retired my beasts to someone else's drive way (or back paddock) and am back
to VW! I had a '79 black bumper MK1 GLS Golf a long while back, don't know where
that ended up and also a mint, red MK1 GLS that got bent. Anyhow, I've just got my hands on
a Golf Wagon 118tsi Comfortline, Salsa Red (got a dealer tint – looks soo much better)
Great car, just needs some 17s or 18s, maybe some brushed chrome mirror caps and chrome exhaust
tips to spruce it up a bit. Don't want to go too crazy as it's mainly the wife's car but
if anyone has any other ideas let me know! Are there any cheap ways to get some more
power out of this thing?
