Hi everyone
Picked up my new red GTI three weeks ago today, loving it so far. I have been doing a bit of research and found this forum to be most informative about all things VW so I thought I should join up.
I will keep my car pretty much stock, I did option it with Detroits and a tint though. My previous car was a BMW 125 Coupe so this car had pretty big shoes to fill and the GTI has really surprised in its capability, even the reduction in fuel consumption has been a bit of a bonus. My other car is a V8 petrol Landcruiser 200 Series so the Golf is a good balance as my daily driver, the cruiser is the family car.
Looking forward to learning plenty about the GTI.
