Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Newbie intro

    Hi,

    Been lurking on VW fora for almost 3 years since I have had my Passat B6 TDI. Seems that veedubbers arounda re a very enthusiastic bunch that knows a lot and must say I have benefited formthat a number of items.

    My car is lease - so - I have not much flexibility on what I can do, apart from minor electronics stuff and some diy cosmetic repairs.

    BUT - Love DIY so - hopefully I can share some as well as read
