Would like to introduce myself stipa0911 and i am just plum crazy over these B1 marvels from the first time i saw one back in 1974 when my DAD purchased redish/orange PASSAT and when he got his second one in 1976 and it had that magical center console and sporty shifter.................at any rate after years and years of searching i finally purchased an original owner B1 PASSAT with believe it or not only 65655KM on her.....................i am just waiting to take possesion of her as customs has cleared her so she should be home by no later than friday at which time i will post pics of dream machine..................Thanks to everyone for encouraging sites like this they really help with info and parts which i have accumulated a garage full.........little humerous couldn't afford the car so i was buying parts for it years before i bought it now i have doubles triples of some parts including brand new OEM VW stuff from the 70's..............so if i can lend a hand to anyone just holler i am not looking to make a profit on any parts i just want to see these cars live forever
