Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    B& passat wagon reverse camera

    I have recently bought a B 7 Passat wagon MY 12 that has factory fitted reverse camera linked to the RNS 510 display. When the car is in reverse, the display of the reverse camera does not display any lines. Additionally, at night, the picture is very poor. It appears the camera is not light sensitive. Are there any settings that can be done to improve the picture at night and display the lines.
