Well our family has grown up so it's time to trade the trusty 100 series Landcruiser for something smaller. Still want to keep the boat though - probably can't get a small, classy 4WD that will tow 1800kgs - wait! Yes you can - the Tig!
So we've placed our order and will take delivery next week. Pepper grey 103 TDI manual with towbar and comfort pack. Can't wait; loved the test drive. We're all sad to see the trusty "bruiser" go but at three times the fuel consumption of the Tig, it's got to happen.
I've been reading up on the Tig on this and other forums, so thought I would join up. I'll be posting my new owner experiences including first big trip to Coffs later this month, and first tow of the boat in spring when the Tig's run in. Here's hoping it will fill the shoes of the big ol' bruiser well.
