Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW Got meself a R32 Mk5

    Hey guys,

    Just got myself a Mk5 R32! Gonna be asking a lot of questions around so please bear with me!

    So jumping right into things :p

    Where do I get a version F RNS510 from? or any newer revision?

    These are the 2 that I narrowed down so far from eBay.

    RNS510

    and

    RNS510

    These are the other parts that I will be getting. Will I have any issues running it with these?

    Bluetooth

    MDI

    Also car is 08 model so shouldn't need a CANBUS upgrade.
