Hey, my name is Glenn. I have just purchased my first VW. I'm now the proud owner of a '95 Golf GL. 
I do have to fix the rear electric windows and my speedo/tacho barely works. The previous owner said that it worked when it was cold. I'm yet to see it working so I've been using a GPS speedometer.
Also be looking at a new head unit, it does currently have an Alpine one but it only has CD. I have my eyes on an Eclipse CD-5030 unless I can get my hands on a CD-7200 MKII.
Will also be upgrading the audio as it only has some Alpine things in the back. Trying to get hold of some Exodus Audio Anarchy 6.5" midbass for the doors or if I can't get those I have some Scanspeak Revelators in mind. Going to replace the stock tweeters with some SB29's.
As for anything that isn't audio, I don't have any plans. Any ideas? I'm not much of a car person so I don't really know what could be done for performance or visuals.
