'Hey guys, selling my 1997 Golf CL.
Good points:
- New distrubutor cap, spark plugs and leads ($370)
- Kickin' 7 Speaker stereo system (Optional)
- Immaculate interior, only one 'rip' in the driver's door
- New water pump, throttle body, battery, cooling system*, sports exhaust
- Serviced twice in 6 months, tuned once
- 2 rear tyres brand new
Bad points:
- Small dent in front left quater panel
- 245xxx kms. But it will last for tens of thousands more.
- Front tyres low tread
I've had this car for around 9 months and it's been a terrific first car. We've just had it serviced by one of Adelaide's leading mechanics. The sound system is Sony head deck with Clarion and Pioneer speakers with a 10" subwoofer and amplifier. It's got a brand new exhaust system and tip which isn't too loud but sounds awesome for a 1.8L auto. Aircon just needs a regas, heater works well. Seat covers on all the time, so no damage to the upholserty etc.
