Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    hey everyone, recently came across this forum and its brilliant !!! it has so many great people and info on all VW's,


    i have recently bought a 2003 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF 4th Gen. and am wondering what are some nice cheap mods i can do to it ?? (under 1k for now) to give it a little more kick, i know if i want more power im going to need more money, but im just looking for simple things, also what exhaust would you guys recommend ?? and what would i expect to pay for a nice full system and where is a good place to get it done in brisbane ??
