Ok, first things first.... Love the forum! It has everything if not more that the VW owner/driver/enthusiast could ever want.
Not a total noob to VW though, I had my fair share of the lovely 1967 Beetle that I could not totally kill... ( even if I did manage to get the speedo to point straight down!)
Now... 2005 1.9 TDi MkV Golf Comfortline with DSG. Just got it today. Totally love the car.
BUT.... One thing is really bothering me, and I've searched the forum with no great success. ( Sorry

It has a full size MFD yet I cannot access the convenience menu by using the "push the rocker switch for 2 seconds to access menu" method described in the manual.
Am I missing something, or is the car?
Is this something that can be enabled by VW service?
Any help would be great.
