I would like to say hello to all forum members and I look forward to learning from and contributing to discussions.
I recently purchased a '08 T5 transporter 2.5 TDI auto from a friend having come from a very boring but incredibly reliable '98 Toyota Townace 1.8. The T5 is like a rocket ship in comparison - oh wow!
I have a little housekeeping to do such as some new tyres, 110,000k service and possibly some new shocks ( the ride does seem harsh), and after 12 years of 56Kw and 140nm (if I was lucky),possibly some type of chip/remap. However I am totally sold on the Transporter as a long term keeper.
I have a few specific questions but will direct them to the appropriate forum soon.
