Hi all,
just completed a deal on a petrol/dsg MY2010 Octavia RS - my first white car since... an Austin Kimberley I had in the mid-70s.
Hoping to receive it in a month or so - current vehicle lease expires around then.
Coming here from a much-loved Citroen C5, though the way Melbourne's dealers and Ateco (the importer) treated their customers, it was something of a trial at times. Usually after each service.
Immediately felt a huge difference in the cars - C5 more of a relaxed cruiser though performance was never wanting, Octavia feels lithe by comparison. No options on the RS - budgetary constraints. Would have loved bi-xenon lights though. Will miss those from the C5.
I shall have to be patient, but if I start smiling again when I drive, it will be worth it.
